Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park is snuggled at the foothills of the highest mountain in Africa, Mt. Kilimanjaro. Partially dry lakebed of evaporated salts dominate the park, and the landscape is covered with acacia and phoenix palms. Over 1000 African elephants and herds of other game roam throughout Amboseli National Park's 150 square miles. It is also home to over 150 species of birds.
Day 5
Breakfast. Checkout of the hotel (Impala Hotel). Depart for the Amboseli National Park in Kenya.
We retrace our steps back to the border at Namanga, clear passport control and head out to the Amboseli.
On our arrival at the Amboseli we check into the Ol Tukai Safari Lodge. We have our lunch, have a rest then do an afternoon game drive. Arrive back at the lodge at sundown. We stay at the Ol Tukai lodge for two nights. This is home for the elephant. You will also see hippos, buffalos, zebras, and many other species including lion and cheetah.

Day 6:
This morning we have a really early morning game drive, and have a late breakfast on our return.
Rest until the afternoon then drive out chasing the Big Five again. Here is where we see Africa’s highest mountain, Mount Kilimanjaro, with its snow-capped top at 19000 feet. It is also the best vintage point to view the mountain in both Kenya and Tanzania.
