General Logistics Management

• Undertake all dealings with Government departments including;
  • Registration of companies in the country of operation.
  • Licences:  Securing exploration licences.
  • Land leases:  Negotiate for purchase of leases from existing lease holders.
  • Processing work permits.
  • In-house expertise:  Provide on the ground advice in developing a realistic understanding of requirements for a specific country.
    
    
• Business facilities set up in major towns or remote towns/villages: 
  Opening of bank accounts, set up of accounting and insurance systems, office supplies and agencies, and power supply.
  
  
• Communication:
  Hire or purchase of required radio/satellite communication packages and securing required licenses.
  
  
• Camps management: 
  Establishment/supply and maintenance of large or small scale field camps.  Food supplies and all associated logistics.
  
  
• Customs Clearance: 
  Heavy and light equipment and material clearance through ports and borders of the above countries.
  
  
• Field Gear and Equipment sourced through a network of suppliers.
  
  
• Vehicle supply: 
  Arrange purchase or hire on behalf of the client, individual or fleet of fully field equipped four-by four vehicles.  
  
  
• Recruitment:
  
  
  • Geological Personnel: Sourcing and hiring of experienced field exploration geologists.  African Exploration Mineral
    Services also has an added advantage of sourcingthese personnel from its database of both international and local
    geologists from countries of previous mineral exploration projects. 
    
  • General labour: Hire of local workforce including professional, interpreters and unskilled where required.
    
    
• Camp Construction:
  Contruction, supply and management of permanent and semi-permanent exploration and mining camps.

Carrying out Exploration Field Programme:

• Mapping:
  Exploration of clients’ areas of interest prior to pegging.
  
  
• Pegging: Pegging of tenaments.
  
  
• Work Programme:
  Planning and supervising the geologists’ field programme of work.  Arrange staff rotation.
  
  
• Soil Sampling:
  Supervision of soil and stream sediment sampling programme and reporting with timely reports to clients.
  
  
• Drilling:
  RAB - RC - Diamond Core.
  
  
• Heavy equipment: 
  Hire of bulldozers and graders as required.
  
  
• Environmental and safety planning: 
  Manage the required environmental rehabilitative safety planning in exploration and staff habitat areas during and
  upon completion of projects.
  
  
• Occupational safety: 
  Management of safe working environments to minimise risks to personnel and equipment. 
  
  
• Lease holder introductions: 
  Arrange introductions for African lease holders to Australian mineral exploration companies, property evaluations.
  
  
• Mining consulting services:
  Provides exploration project management, remote sensing and GIS services; mineral resource and reserve
  estimates and audits; property evaluations. Provides long and short term maintenance programs.
  
  
• Maintenance and repair service for mining equipment:
  Capabilities include concrete and civil work - mechanical installations and equipment setting; structural
  welding; pipe welding, fabrication and installation; building erection and energy projects; mechanical
  equipment installation; consultancy and analysis.
  

Management Team:
Our management team comprises of people with a mixture of mining and mineral exploration backgrounds,
as well as human resources experience, import/export of bulk products, and building of transportable accommodation.
